[ hermione is supposed to be visiting the invincible to say thank you to someone, to drop off a repaired something or other; she has full intentions of simply coming and going, returning back to her own cabin as quickly as she can. but like all good intentions, they're worth nothing in the wake of an emergency.
and hearing her best friend's disembodied voice, screaming in pain, through the other side of a door? well, that's quite an emergency.
only she can't get through. it isn't just locked — she knows a damn spell for that, thank you! — but rather repelling, the hard wall of a boundary spell pushing back against her. ]
