( there's the hunger for blood which could be dealt with if he had some good food and liquor about, but alas. kol might be living in a rather decent apartment, but he doesn't have the patience for cooking. one would think that an ex-witch would have some culinary skills, but not him. he likes being spoiled and catered for. )
