[ There's a clipping of short E-Mails that are attached. When opened, they begin mid-sentence and don't provide much context. They seem to be between candidate Katelin Jovavich and someone with the initials "JPG" meeting for lunch in the business district of New Amsterdam. They mention the terraforming projects, and Jovavich's aggressive pursuit to expand to Jupiter's moons, Jupiter II and Jupiter IV, despite the uninhabitable conditions. JPG teases that "she's not going to find what she's looking for."

You should think about reposting it to the secured network. Maybe someone else will recognize it. That doesn't sound like something that'd come from any of us.
[ ergo, maybe someone will be able to parse something useful from it. ]
I mean you should do what you want. But someone might be able to help you make sense of it.
Terraforming is a big deal for this planet's government. All the trouble with the Mars colonies seems to have something to do with that. It might have come from someone important. You're new?
It's going to be okay. I know things are chaotic right now. Scary. But just after I got here, that giant monster attacked the city, and look how it's improved since then. We'll get through this. Are you somewhere safe? It's getting bad out in the streets.
[She hadn't expected this stranger to try and take care of her or make her feel better, so she's a little caught off guard by the whole thing.
She'd wonder if they wanted something out of her if coming to that conclusion made any sense at all.]
i keep trying to head out there to help, but i end up having to come back when it gets too hot. even trying to stay in the shade isn't doing much anymore.
but you don't need to worry about me. i'm being careful.
Depending on who you ask, I'm never the most fun person to speak to.
[Self-deprecating or entirely self-aware? Hard to say, given that it's Akechi.]
I'm surprised you enjoyed having your father here. That seems like something kids our age would never prefer to have. We're meant to revel in our independence, after all.
[Sometimes Akechi acts like an observer of teenagers instead of a teenager himself. It shows. How do you do, fellow kids? And all that.]
